This the show at which I had my first 9:30 Club cupcake. I was a little disappointed to find that it had a cream filling, akin to an old school hostess cupcake. I was not dissapointed, however, with Deerhunter. I thought the guys did a nice job presenting work from their latest and fantastic album, Halcyon Digest, along with a few older tracks. Due to illness, this show was cut a little short for us and we couldn't stay for the encore. I was pretty darn happy happy though because we left right after their closer and one of my all time favorite songs, "He Would Have Laughed."
