task CounterCholesterol.org Launched

2016-07-08

Just launched CounterCholesterol.org, a project of the National Forum for Heart Disease & Stroke. We served as the project's lead user experience designer, information architect, and developers. The project as a whole was completed in coordination and collaboration with Rive Creative, also of Washington DC, on a quick turnaround basis.

The mobile-friendly, responsive website features commissioned videos produced by Rive, various content resources, and a searchable map. It's also a dual-language website, available in English and Spanish. As a pilot project, our development work required setting up advanced analytics tracking with a focus on event-fired analytics. The site's technical requirements focused largely on speed and usability and didn't include a CMS, which gave us the opportunity to produce the site using a unique workflow combining Pug (formerly Jade) and Node.js, and Gulp.
