task Large Drupal Update

Performed a large scale Drupal update for a client. I inherited the site in very out of date form and like too many projects, the focus was on new features and new content in lieu of much needed maintenance work. But a recent server upgrade to PHP 5.3 made the upgrade absolutely necessary, as several modules were starting to show up with errors in the logs as a result of deprecations etc. The security needs were justification enough though.

The update took the site from Drupal 6.13 to 6.26 and involved the update of Drupal core and 20+ modules. In addition, patches were identified and installed for several under-maintained modules with known bugs.
