task CRFB's New goBig Homepage Feature

CRFB approached me with an existing website and asked me to do some visual enhancements.  First up, they wanted to feature their new goBig initiative on the homepage.  They wanted something that could be temporary, but immediately catch the eyes of their visitors.  After discusisng the pros and cons of various  options (e.g,. pop-up windows), I presented them with a design for a new "special feature" section that sits just above their homepage carousel.  For as long as their pushing this initiative, you'll be able to see it at www.crfb.org or you can view the screenshot.  In the future, they'll be able to hide or re-use this space for other special needs. The content of the new section is managed through Drupal.
