Catching up on some unfinished business, including the application of speed optimizations to several websites--minified the CSS and JS, enabled GZIP compression, and added expire headers. Brought the overall weight down by ~20% on some sites and greatly improved their YSlow score. As a second phase, I'm going to review some older sites to make sure they are using CSS image sprites as effectively as possible.
